Kee Kee Kiwi goes to the fairy tree.

Today Abbie, Courtney, Bonnie, Maia and Natalie took me to the fairy tree. They took photos of me in the school bushes and trees. I liked when I was in the fairy tree. When I was in the fairy tee. I liked when people where taking turns holding me. I had a lot of fun. I love being a brown kiwi.

Kee Kee Kiwi at the Skate Bowl

Show him around the class outside. Show him how to play cheat. Show him how to play around the playground. Show him around the rugby post. By Colin, Alex and Ben.

Kee Kee Kiwi goes to the library.

I like reading books I am good at it. I like panda books. I don't like doggy books. Kiwi and penguin books are the best. The funniest books are the chapter books. I like cow books. I was very quiet in the library. All my friends were in the forest books. I was reading the books and I loved the books. I was sitting on the bookshelf looking for books. I had fun in the library. I read a kiwi book. It had my enemies in it. But it had a happy ending.

Bushcraft Skills

Today we went to the Cobb valley to learn bushcraft skills from some instructors who work at outward bound.  We did location awareness, fire starting, navigation off track, and safety in the bush. The bush safety came in handy when a wasp nest was disturbed and children and instructors got stung.  Everyone did the right thing to sort the problem out. Carrying on the students learnt how to build shelter that would keep the weather out if they got lost. 1 of the other highlights was falling over on the grassland that was very uneven. We finished off with a quick 1 in the river all students but one had to swim in their clothes.  Well done to Shaye for being super organised.   Caleb astonished the teacher by identifying 10 different species of native birds. It was a a fantastic day thanks to wonderful instructors and excellent students.
